In honor of breast cancer awareness month we have a couple posts about some major breakthroughs in breast cancer research. The first link is about how teams at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute have identified some differing characteristics in the four different types of breast cancer, which will allow doctors to combat each type accordingly. Each type is slightly different, so they all require specialized types of treatment. This is a ground breaking discovery in the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer.
