Saturday afternoon, we went to Boston Boxing to check-in with Dan Matuszewski, and new fighter Shelly Walsh! Haymakers has been hit with the injury bug this year, and thankfully Shelly was available to step in, almost at the last minute. We last saw Shelly on Thursday night, when she sparred her opponent, Nora. Luckily, both girls are the same size and skill level. The punches came fast and furious, and both showed excellent spirit! From what we see, their opposing styles could make this a candidate for Fight of the Night! Click here to help support Shelly on her goal to K.O. cancer! We also got to see Dan, who got his chance in the ring as well. Dan sparred for two very fast-paced rounds, where he had a chance to show his aggression. Dan is up to fight his roommate, Dave Walsh in what will definitely be the brawl of all brawls!
